Two weed seasons

Cave Creek gets winter weeds from January to April and monsoon weeds from August to October. Weeds in rock beds and decomposed granite come back after pulling, and after every storm or winter rain.

Post-emergent treatment

Targeted post-emergent treatment controls existing annual broadleaf weeds in the maintained gravel and granite areas identified in your proposal. Results depend on the weed species and growing conditions. We do not hand-pull.

Pre-emergent treatment

We apply Specticle® FLO during the October 2026–February 2027 application window to help prevent annual broadleaf weeds. The 12-month warranty runs January 1–December 31, 2027; it does not start on the treatment date. Complimentary touch-ups are included for covered annual broadleaf weeds during that warranty period.

Coverage applies only to designated maintained gravel and granite areas. Grasses, sedges, woody plants, native desert weeds and non-maintained areas are excluded. Your proposal identifies the treatment areas and full program terms.

So far in 2026 we have treated 762 weed clients, and we have only had to touch up 13. Our pre-emergent works.
