Rodents we handle
Each species has its own habits, so each has its own page. All of them get the same approach: find how they get in, remove them humanely, clean up, and seal the entry points.
- Pack rats (wood rats)
- Roof rats
- Kangaroo rats
- Rock squirrels
- Desert mice
How a rodent inspection works
In most cases we inspect the property onsite, inside and out. In some cases we use smoke detection to find damaged pipes inside the walls that rodents are using to get in.
Every inspection ends with a plan to seal the rodents out, and a long-term Rodent Fertility Control program if the property needs one.
Trapping and Evolve stations
We trap the rodents that are there now. For long-term control we use Evolve stations, a fertility control bait that stops rodents from breeding, so the population shrinks instead of refilling.
Exclusion is the step that lasts
Roof rats can get through an opening as small as half an inch, and desert mice through a quarter inch. Removal without sealing those gaps only makes room for the next ones.
Humane methods
Removal is humane, targeted and safe for pets and children, and complies with Arizona wildlife guidelines. We never use methods that risk non-target animals.
